Andrea also co-founded the female focused "collective" project 'Soul Sirens' with Austin singer-songwriter, Sidney Scott. They formed in 2021 and have been writing and performing ever since, adding other Texas women into the fold including, Regan Quinn, Amanda Jarman, Julia Hatfield, and Erica Michelle. Scott and Young noticed an imbalance in the industry, and often found that women in the industry seemed to observe a narrative where there were only so many "spots" available for female musicians to have a "seat at the table." Their focus of this collective, was to have women supporting each other in music, as opposed to feeling like competition to one another.
